1/2 cup CSE Pancake & Waffle Mix
1/2 scoop CSE Maple Donut Protein Powder, optional
1 egg, beaten
1-2 pre-cooked turkey sausage links or turkey bacon
1 Tbs. OffBeat Maple Donut Butter

Optional Topping not included in macros:
Maple syrup

1. Turn on waffle maker (I love using my round Dash Mini Waffle Maker; it makes the perfect size for a breakfast sandwich).

2. Mix together CSE Pancake & Waffle Mix according to package and add in optional protein powder for extra maple flavor. It should be more runny than thick, so add more liquid if needed.

3. Spray waffle maker with nonstick cooking spray. Add 1/4 cup of CSE Pancake & Waffle Mix. Let cook for 5 minutes or longer if you prefer crispy. Repeat steps two and three.

4. If using turkey sausage, cut them down the middle and heat in the microwave for 10 seconds. For turkey bacon, break in half and heat in the microwave for 10 seconds.

5. Spray waffle maker with nonstick spray. Add the beaten egg to the waffle maker and let it cook for 5 minutes; it will rise a little.

6. While the egg cooks, add the Maple Donut Butter to both waffle pieces, spreading evenly.

9. Add the cooked egg to the bottom waffle piece. Then add the meat on the egg and top with the other waffle to make a sandwich. Enjoy as is or dip in maple syrup.
